Loving Memories
Mrs. Edna B. Hayer, daughter of the late George Nelson Mannings and Lelia B. Thomas was born on January 13, 1937 in Hackensack, New Jersey.  Early in life, Edna married the late John E. Hayer.  They were married for fifty-nine (59) years.

Edna was a beloved long-time resident of Paterson, New Jersey.  She found joy in sewing and shopping.  Although she loved shopping, she was a very frugal person and known by many as "Cheap Charlie".  During the early years of her life, Edna volunteered at the local headstart program.  In Edna's later years, she moved to Summerville, South Carolina and enjoyed peaceful days sitting on the front porch or relaxing in the backyard.

Edna leaves to cherish her memory her children: Tamara, Troy, and Pilar; Grandchildren: Ashia, Rakeesha, Tabree, Troy Jr., Brittney, Candice, and De'Ante; Great Grand-children: Bryce, Kennedy, and Makai; Special nieces: Dale, Tricina, Julissa, and Shalonda; Nephews: Mark, Tinker, Joe, and Ennis; Brother-in-law, Jimmy; Special son, Curt; Special friends: Ann, Marilyn, and Gloria; Cousin/friend, Terri; and a host of friends and extended family.
