Joe Neil Womack, Jr.
Evans, Georgia- Funeral service for Mr. Joe Neil Womack, Jr.,17, of 1089 Walton's Pass, will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011, 12 Noon at Harmonia Missionary Baptist Church, 760 Edward Mixon Road, Varnville, South Carolina.  Interment will follow in the Harmonia Cemetery.  Pastor Tony S. Williams and Pastor Jim Nicholson will be officiating.

The family will receive visitation of friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Washington's Funeral Home.

Washington's Funeral Home of Hampton is entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Joe Neil Womack, Jr. received the summon of our Heavenly Father, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics, Augusta, Georgia.  He was born August 26, 1993 in Augusta, Georgia to Mr. Joe Neil Womack, Sr. and Mrs. Abbie Williams Womack. 

Joe, affectionately known as "Shaka", was a senior at Greenbrier High School located in Evans, Georgia.  Joe Neil was proficient in, and had an avid love for, building computers.  His sense of humor was depicted in the silly hats and shirts he wore with designs and funny slogans on them.  Everyone loved his deep voice and encouraged him to pursue a career in Broadcasting.  He loved loud music, skateboarding, swimming, studying chemical reactions and building items purchased from the internet.

Joe Neil's plan was to enroll this fall in the College of Coastal Georgia located in Brunswick, Georgia, majoring in Computer Science.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. Henry & Mrs. Bama Womack and Ms. Ada Mae Williams; and five (5) Uncles.

To cherish fond memories and lament his departure are his parents: Mr. Joe Neil Womack, Sr. and Mrs. Abbie Williams Womack of Evans, Georgia; His maternal grandparent, Mr. Ode Wright (Mrs. Earnestine) of Early Branch, South Carolina; (14) Aunts: Mrs. Annie Watson (Mr. Jeffrey), Mrs. Bertha Crenshaw (Mr. Allen) and Mrs. Egola Purifoy (Mr. Willie), all of Greenville, Alabama, Mrs. Mae Ella Crenshaw (Mr. Henry) and Ms. Bobbie Washington, all of Birmingham, Alabama, Ms. Karen Williams and Mrs. Sylvia W.
