Varnville, South Carolina – Graveside Service in Celebration of Life and Remembrance of Ms. Gloria Divine Green, 60, of 90 Maple Street, Apartment C15, will be held Saturday morning, May 5, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at Ellis Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Varnville, South Carolina. Evangelist Elise McQuire will be officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, May 4, 2012 from 6-7:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Washington’s Funeral Home of Hampton, South Carolina.
Ms. Gloria Green was summoned by her Creator on Monday, April 30, 2012 at her residence in Varnville. She was born March 14, 1952 to the late Mr. Dave Green and Mrs. Bessie Lou Green.
She was educated by the former North District Training School, Varnville, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one sister, Ms. Edna Lou Green.
Gloria leaves a devoted family to cherish her everlasting memories. They are: One daughter, Bessie (Lee) Morris of Varnville, South Carolina; One son, David (Patricia) Green of Varnville, South Carolina; (12) Grandchildren: Mard, Jonathan, Byron, Dana, Ebony (Malika), Kendra, Starshekia, Saquanna, Shaquria, Jaheem, Shanice and Sterling, Jr.; (14) Great Grandchildren; (2) Aunts: Mrs. Mary Jenkins (Melvin), who was a special and devoted aunt of Varnville, South Carolina and Mrs. Sadie Green of Estill, South Carolina; Numerous cousins and sympathizing friends, including a long time friend, Mr. Charles Newton of Gillisonville, South Carolina.
